History & Heraldry are market leaders in impulse-buy and sentimental gifts.
Benchmark complete visits to key garden centres and Homebase stores for them to install new display stands, then complete weekly, fortnightly and monthly follow up calls.
As part of these calls we replenish the spinners and place orders.

In early 2019 Benchmark installed the new Rust-Oleum paint range into Dunelm. Twelve months later we completed an update to the assortment in over 100 stores, additional shelves were installed to range new and exciting products, plus a refresh of the impressive POS displays.

Christmas is a key time of year for 3M and their Command range. Benchmark supported their promotional FSDU’s across 390 stores and by installing over 900 additional clip strips to drive impulse purchases.

Benchmark were retained to complete a 100 store staff and customer training & demonstration program across B&Q. These fantastic interactive sessions allowed staff to use first-hand the new products they would be selling to customers and support materials were also distributed as part of the calls. Follow up calls were then geared to consumer days now engaging customers using the tools safely and driving sales.

Skill Demonstrations and Training

Benchmark have supported B&Q’s gift cards since 2006. Our team ensure the displays are well merchandised and full of stock as part of each call. Additional cards are distributed from our warehouse to the team or direct to stores, so we can make seasonal changes to the POS promoting key trading periods i.e. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day & Christmas.

FireAngel combine state of the art technology and design to deliver the most reliable and efficient smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms.
Benchmark completed a range update in late 2019 across 160 + Homebase stores, along with the distribution of the excellent new POS information boards.


Benchmark have provided B&Q’s store support office with merchandising teams since 2001.
This includes supporting the head office team with launching new ranges and in store trials.

Harris started a large re-branding program in 2019 and Benchmark continue to support their area sales managers across UK’s independent retailers for implementation. By using our team in conjunction with theirs, the time to deliver the change was shortened by many months.
